Terms of Service
Last updated February 25, 2026
Welcome to Moffeus
We are a career services platform that connects students, schools, and employers to create equitable pathways into the workforce. Whether you are a middle-school student exploring career clusters for the first time or a Fortune 500 recruiter looking for emerging talent, Moffeus is built for you.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of the services offered by Hasule Inc., a Delaware corporation, doing business as Moffeus ("Moffeus," "we," "us," or "our"), including our user-facing applications, websites (including moffeus.com, hasule.com, and any school-branded subdomains), APIs, AI features, tools, data, and documentation (collectively, the "Service").
By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms referenced herein. If you do not agree with these Terms, including the binding arbitration clause and class action waiver below, please do not use the Service.
These Terms may change over time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email, through the Service, or by presenting updated Terms for your acceptance. Continued use of the Service after a modification is posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.
If you have a separate written agreement with Moffeus that expressly states it supersedes these Terms (for example, an institutional partnership agreement), the provisions in that agreement govern to the extent of any conflict.
Account Creation
You need an account to use Moffeus. You may create an account as a student, an employer, or a career center professional. You agree not to misrepresent any information about yourself when creating or using an account.
Student Accounts
School-Affiliated Accounts. If your school is a Moffeus partner, you may create a Student Account through your school's single sign-on (SSO) system. When your school enables SSO, we may receive and pre-populate certain areas of your profile with information your school provides (such as name and email address). We encourage you to review this information for accuracy. Some fields may be locked by your institution and cannot be edited through Moffeus; please contact your school to correct those.
Direct Signup Accounts. You may also create a Student Account using your email address, even if your school is not a Moffeus partner.
Age Requirement. To create and use a Student Account, you must be at least 13 years old. If you are between 13 and 17 years of age, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and consented to these Terms on your behalf. We may require verifiable parental consent before granting access to certain features. If you are under 13, you may not use the Service.
Student Types. Moffeus supports students across multiple educational stages, including middle school, high school, and post-secondary. The features available to you may vary based on your student type, your school's configuration, and applicable age-based restrictions.
You have the option to provide additional information when creating your account, such as a profile photo, career interests, skills, resume, or work experience. Any information you upload directly to the Service is governed by these Terms.
Employer Accounts
To create an Employer Account, you must be at least 18 years old and either associate yourself with a current Moffeus employer partner or create a new employer organization. You are prohibited from creating an account for anyone other than yourself unless you have received express authorization from an employer or client to do so on their behalf.
When you create an Employer Account, you provide contact information and organizational details. Employer accounts are administered by designated account administrators who are responsible for the conduct of team members they invite to the Service. Employers do not have access to student profiles unless approved by Moffeus or the student's school, and only to the extent that a student has chosen to make their profile visible.
Career Center & Staff Accounts
Career center and staff accounts are created and managed by educational institutions that partner with Moffeus. Staff users may have administrative access to student data within their institution, including private profiles, in connection with their role in managing career services, events, scheduling, and student progress.
General Account Rules
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information and correct any misrepresentations promptly.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and update it regularly.
- You may not create or operate more than one account, and you may not share your account credentials with others.
- You may not create accounts through unauthorized means, including scripts, bots, or automated crawlers.
Student Account Guidelines
Your Moffeus student profile is your first impression for employers and career opportunities. As a general rule, keep your content and communications professional. Specifically, you may not post violent, nude, discriminatory, hateful, or sexually suggestive content via the Service. You are responsible for all content you upload.
You agree not to stalk, defame, bully, harass, abuse, threaten, intimidate, or impersonate other people or entities. You agree not to use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, including spam, copyright infringement, identity theft, or fraud. You must not attempt to restrict another user from using or enjoying the Service or encourage violations of these Terms.
Profile Visibility
Students may set their profile to "public" or "private." When set to private, employers and other students will not see your profile information. However, if your account is associated with a school partner, your school's career center staff may still view certain profile information. When you apply for a job or RSVP for an event, limited information (such as your name, email, and school) may become visible to the applicable employer. You can change your privacy settings at any time from your account settings.
Continuing Access
We encourage you to add a personal email address to your account so that you retain access after your school email expires. You may continue using Moffeus after graduation, and we encourage you to keep your profile current.
Employer Account Guidelines
Through the Service, you may search and filter student profiles, post job opportunities, create workforce programs, host events, and communicate with students. By using these features, you agree to maintain a fair and equitable recruitment process.
- Non-Discrimination. You agree not to discriminate based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
- Student Data Confidentiality. You are prohibited from disclosing or sharing student data with third parties. You shall only use student data to provide employment or career services to the student and may not use, sell, or disclose student data for data analytics, data monetization, advertising, marketing, or any other purpose, even if the data is aggregated or de-identified.
- No Spam. You may not use the Service to send unsolicited marketing messages or broadcasts. Bulk or repeated identical messages, messages with low student response rates, or messages that drive traffic away from the Service are prohibited.
- No Scraping. You may not bulk collect student data, employer data, job descriptions, or other marketplace information through automated scripts, scraping, or similar technologies.
- Team Responsibilities. Account administrators are responsible for the use of the Service by team members they invite, including requests related to personal data collected from those team members.
- Third-Party Recruiters. Third-party recruiters may not require students to create accounts on unaffiliated platforms, store student data for future marketing, or allow third parties to use student data for any purpose. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination.
Career Center & Staff Guidelines
Staff accounts retain access to student data as part of their administrative duties. Staff users may view student profiles within their institution, including private profiles, manage events, schedule appointments, import student data, run analytics, and administer workforce programs. Staff users are responsible for handling student data in accordance with their institution's policies, applicable law (including FERPA), and these Terms.
Platform Features and Services
Moffeus provides a range of features to support career discovery, workforce readiness, and talent acquisition. Available features may vary by account type, plan, and institutional configuration. Features include, but are not limited to, job matching and application tracking, career events and employer engagement, workforce development programs, messaging and appointment scheduling, AI-powered career tools and assessments, analytics and reporting, and third-party integrations. Some deployments may operate under school- or organization-branded subdomains with customized configuration.
Moffeus reserves the right to release updates, modify, or discontinue any feature at any time. Changes may not be consistent across all platforms or deployments.
Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with or contain links to third-party services, including but not limited to payment processors, calendar providers, video conferencing tools, and electronic signature platforms. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that service's own terms and privacy policy. Moffeus does not control and is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services, and your use of them is at your own risk.
Moffy AI & Artificial Intelligence Features
Moffeus offers AI-powered features through "Moffy," our career intelligence assistant. When you interact with Moffy or other AI features, you can provide input ("Submissions") that cause the Service to generate responses ("Generated Responses"). Together, Submissions and Generated Responses constitute "AI Content."
- Ownership. You retain ownership of your Submissions. Moffeus retains ownership of Generated Responses and grants you a license to use them within the Service and for your personal or internal business purposes.
- Accuracy Disclaimer. AI-generated content may not be accurate, complete, or current. Generated Responses are not a substitute for professional career counseling, legal advice, or human review. You are responsible for evaluating the accuracy and appropriateness of any Generated Response.
- No Personal Data in Submissions. You should not include personally identifiable information (such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or passwords) in your Submissions. Moffeus disclaims liability for personal information you include in Submissions.
- Data Usage. Moffeus may use anonymized and aggregated AI Content to improve the Service, train models, and develop new features. We will not use individually identifiable Submissions to train models without your consent.
- Usage Limits. AI features may be subject to usage limits, credit systems, or fair-use policies. Moffeus reserves the right to throttle or restrict access to AI features to ensure service quality.
- Non-Unique Responses. Due to the nature of AI, the Service may produce similar responses for different users who provide similar inputs. Similar Generated Responses produced for others are not part of your AI Content.
Paid Services
Moffeus offers multiple subscription plans with varying features, limits, and pricing ("Paid Services"). Before you pay any fees, you will have an opportunity to review and accept the applicable charges. All fees are in U.S. Dollars and are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law. Fees are processed through our payment partner (Stripe) and may be subject to additional terms presented at the time of purchase.
Pricing & Changes
Moffeus reserves the right to determine and modify pricing for the Service. If we change the fees for your current plan, we will provide you with at least 30 days' advance notice through the Service, email, or other reasonable means before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Service after the price change becomes effective constitutes your agreement to pay the updated amount. Current pricing is available on our pricing page. Moffeus may offer promotional pricing or discounts to certain users; such offers are non-transferable and do not apply to other users or accounts.
Subscriptions & Billing
Paid subscriptions are available on monthly and yearly billing cycles. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current fees unless you cancel before the renewal date. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize Moffeus and its payment processor to charge your payment method for each renewal period, including after your payment method has expired where permitted by your payment provider. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account settings. No prorated refund is provided upon cancellation, but you retain access to Paid Services through the end of the paid term.
Agentic Credits & Usage-Based Features
Your plan includes a monthly allotment of Agentic Credits that are consumed when you use AI-powered features. Credit allotments vary by plan and are described on our pricing page. Unused credits do not roll over between billing periods. If you exhaust your credits before the end of a billing period, access to credit-dependent features may be limited or paused until your next billing cycle or until you upgrade to a higher plan. Moffeus reserves the right to modify credit allotments and introduce additional usage-based features.
Plan Features & Limits
Features, workspace limits, service fee rates, and support levels vary by plan. Access to certain features (such as SSO verification, API access, and custom integrations) may require a qualifying plan tier. Moffeus reserves the right to modify plan features at any time. If you upgrade or downgrade your plan, changes take effect at the start of your next billing period unless otherwise stated.
Enterprise Agreements
Enterprise plans are subject to custom pricing and terms negotiated with Moffeus. Enterprise agreements may include service-level commitments, dedicated support, and custom configurations. Where an enterprise agreement conflicts with these Terms, the enterprise agreement governs.
Taxes
You are responsible for all applicable taxes. If Moffeus is legally required to collect taxes, the amount will be invoiced to you.
Delinquent Accounts
Moffeus may suspend or terminate access to Paid Services for any account with an overdue balance. If your payment method is no longer valid at the time a renewal fee is due, Moffeus reserves the right to downgrade your account to the free plan and remove access to paid features. You are responsible for any fees or charges incurred in connection with the collection of unpaid amounts, including collection agency fees.
Gig Marketplace & Service Fees
Moffeus may facilitate paid gig opportunities, micro-jobs, or project-based work between employers and talents through the Service ("Gig Services"). When money flows through the platform for Gig Services, the following terms apply:
- Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old to participate in Gig Services. By accepting or posting gig work, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
- Service Fees. Moffeus charges a service fee on Gig Services transactions. The applicable fee percentage will be clearly disclosed before you confirm any transaction. Fees are deducted from the payment amount before disbursement.
- Payment Processing. Payments for Gig Services are processed through our payment partner (Stripe). By participating in Gig Services, you agree to be bound by Stripe's Connected Account Agreement, including the Stripe Terms of Service. You authorize Moffeus to share necessary information with Stripe to facilitate payments.
- Payment Timing. Payments to talents for completed gig work are disbursed after the employer confirms completion, subject to any applicable review period. Moffeus is not responsible for delays caused by payment processors, banks, or employer review.
- Disputes. If a dispute arises between a talent and an employer regarding Gig Services (including payment amount, work quality, or completion), Moffeus may, at its discretion, mediate the dispute but is not obligated to do so. Moffeus is not a party to the employment or service relationship between talents and employers and disclaims liability for the outcome of gig work.
- Tax Responsibilities. Talents receiving payments through Gig Services are responsible for reporting and paying all applicable taxes on their earnings. Moffeus may issue tax forms (such as IRS Form 1099) as required by law.
Content Ownership & Licensing
Your Content Belongs to You
Moffeus does not claim ownership of any content that you post on or through the Service. By making your content available on the Service, you grant Moffeus a non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, modify, publicly display, publicly perform, and distribute your content solely in connection with operating and providing the Service.
You represent and warrant that you own your content or have all rights necessary to grant this license, and that your content does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights, violate any law, or contain fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or harmful material.
Our Intellectual Property
All content included in the Service other than your content ("Moffeus Content"), including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, and the compilation thereof, is the property of Hasule Inc. or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on Moffeus Content without our express written permission.
The Moffeus and Hasule names, logos, and related marks are our trademarks and may not be used without prior written permission.
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use the Service for any commercial purpose not expressly permitted by Moffeus. You may not use the Service, or any data obtained from the Service, to develop, support, or enhance any product or service that competes with Moffeus. You may not solicit users away from the Service to a competing platform.
You may not bulk collect student data, employer data, job descriptions, or other information from the Service through automated scripts ("scraping"), crawling, or similar technologies.
Privacy & Data
Moffeus takes user privacy seriously. Our collection, use, and disclosure of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
- Student Data. We are committed to protecting student data. Where applicable, we comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) with respect to education records provided by partner institutions.
- Children's Privacy. The Service is not directed to children under 13. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. For users aged 13 to 17, parental or guardian consent is required.
- SSO & School Data. When a school partner enables SSO/SAML authentication, certain student data (such as name and email) flows from the school to Moffeus to facilitate account creation. This data is handled in accordance with our agreements with the school and applicable law.
- Employer Data Obligations. Employers who receive student data through the Service agree to keep it confidential, handle it with standards equivalent to or exceeding those described in our Privacy Policy, and comply with all applicable data protection laws.
SMS & Text Messaging Consent
By providing your phone number and opting in to text notifications—whether during account creation, in your notification settings, or by texting a keyword to a Moffeus short code—you expressly consent to receive autodialed or prerecorded calls and text messages from Moffeus (including from Moffy, our AI assistant) at the phone number you provide. Messages may include, but are not limited to:
- Appointment reminders and scheduling updates
- Career opportunity alerts and job match notifications
- Event reminders and RSVP confirmations
- Proactive career guidance and check-ins from Moffy
- Application status updates
- Account security and verification codes
Consent Is Not Required
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Moffeus. You may use the Service without opting in to text messaging.
Message Frequency & Rates
Message frequency varies based on your account activity and notification preferences. Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Moffeus does not charge for text messages, but your carrier may.
How to Opt Out
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying "STOP" to any message, updating your notification preferences in your account settings, or contacting us at support@moffeus.com. After opting out, you may receive a single confirmation message. Opting out of text messages does not affect other communications (such as email or in-app notifications).
Help
For help with text messaging, reply "HELP" to any message or contact us at support@moffeus.com.
AI-Initiated Messages
Some text messages may be initiated by Moffy, our AI career assistant, based on your activity, preferences, and career development goals. These messages are automated. By opting in to text notifications, you acknowledge and consent to receiving AI-initiated messages. AI-initiated messages are subject to the same opt-out procedures described above.
Account Termination & Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, any applicable law, or any other policies associated with the Service. We may also suspend accounts that we reasonably believe are being used for fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purposes.
You may request deletion of your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Upon termination or deletion, we will remove your profile and personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data retention obligations. Certain data may be retained as required by law or legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention or legal compliance).
If you have duplicate accounts (for example, one created via SSO and one via email), we may offer to merge them. You authorize Moffeus to merge duplicate accounts associated with the same verified identity, transferring data from the secondary account to the primary account and deactivating the secondary.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ALL MOFFEUS CONTENT, IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS," "AS AVAILABLE," AND "WITH ALL FAULTS" BASIS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER MOFFEUS NOR ANY OF ITS EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AGENTS, OR AFFILIATES (COLLECTIVELY, THE "MOFFEUS PARTIES") MAKE ANY REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, TITLE, OR FREEDOM FROM COMPUTER VIRUSES.
THE MOFFEUS PARTIES DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR SECURE; THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED; OR THAT THE INFORMATION ON THE SERVICE IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR USEFUL. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. THE MOFFEUS PARTIES DO NOT ENDORSE ANY USER CONTENT, EMPLOYER LISTINGS, OR CAREER OPPORTUNITIES AND SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEM.
Limitation of Liability
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL THE MOFFEUS PARTIES BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND (INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, ECONOMIC, EXEMPLARY, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES) ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE, MOFFEUS CONTENT, USER CONTENT, YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, OR ANY ACTION TAKEN BY THE MOFFEUS PARTIES IN CONNECTION WITH AN INVESTIGATION OR LAW ENFORCEMENT INQUIRY, EVEN IF THE MOFFEUS PARTIES HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT WILL THE MOFFEUS PARTIES' TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES, LOSSES, OR CAUSES OF ACTION EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) ONE HUNDRED UNITED STATES DOLLARS ($100.00) OR (B) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO MOFFEUS IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
Indemnification
Unless prohibited by law, you agree to defend (at Moffeus's request), indemnify, and hold the Moffeus Parties harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising out of or connected with: (i) your content or your use of the Service; (ii) your breach of these Terms; (iii) your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights; (iv) your violation of any applicable law; or (v) any misrepresentation made by you. Moffeus reserves the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you.
Dispute Resolution
You agree that any dispute between you and Moffeus arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Service, or any Moffeus products or services (collectively, "Disputes") will be governed by the procedures outlined below.
Governing Law
These Terms and the resolution of any Disputes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
Informal Resolution
Before filing a formal claim, you agree to try to resolve the Dispute informally by contacting us at legal@moffeus.com. We will try to resolve the Dispute within 30 days. If a Dispute is not resolved within that period, you or Moffeus may bring a formal proceeding.
Binding Arbitration
You and Moffeus agree to resolve any Disputes through final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules and the Supplementary Procedures for Consumer-Related Disputes. The arbitration will be held in the United States county where you live or work, Wilmington, Delaware, or any other location we agree to.
The AAA rules govern payment of all arbitration fees. Moffeus will pay all arbitration fees for individual claims less than $75,000. Moffeus will not seek its attorneys' fees and costs in arbitration unless the arbitrator determines your claim is frivolous.
Opt-Out
You can decline this agreement to arbitrate by contacting us at legal@moffeus.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, stating your full name and that you decline this arbitration agreement.
Exceptions
Either party may (1) assert qualifying claims in small claims court, or (2) bring a lawsuit solely for injunctive relief to stop unauthorized use or abuse of the Service, or for infringement of intellectual property rights, without first engaging in arbitration.
No Class Actions
You may only resolve Disputes with Moffeus on an individual basis. You may not bring a claim as a plaintiff or class member in a class, consolidated, or representative action. Class arbitrations, class actions, private attorney general actions, and consolidation with other arbitrations are not permitted.
Limitation on Claims
Regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to your use of the Service must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose, or it will be permanently barred.
General Provisions
- Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms you accept when using specific features, constitute the entire agreement between you and Moffeus regarding the Service.
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
- No Waiver. Moffeus's failure to enforce any provision of these Terms will not be construed as a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms or any rights or obligations hereunder without our prior written consent. Moffeus may assign these Terms without restriction.
- Force Majeure. Moffeus will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, government actions, or infrastructure failures.
- Contact. If you have questions about these Terms, please contact us at legal@moffeus.com.
